ABOUT LITTLE DREAMERS

Hello! We’re Little Dreamers, Australia’s leading Young Carer organisation. We support young people aged four to 25 who provide care for a family member with a disability, illness or addiction.

Across a range of direct support programs, both in-person and online, we’re improving the quality of life for Young Carers across five key areas: education, employment, mental and physical health, socialisation, and financial wellbeing.
Our vision is a world in which every Young Carer is supported by someone or something by 2030.

The Position

At Little Dreamers, our priority is to be wholly inclusive of ethnicity, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical and intellectual ability, religion, culture and language.

Just like our broader society, Young Carers are not a homogenous group. They each bring a diverse and rich array of backgrounds, experiences, ideas and ambitions. We want every Young Carer to feel welcomed, included and safe when they come to Little Dreamers.

We are currently developing a Diversity and Inclusion reference group to oversee all of Little Dreamers’ operations and help us bring equality and inclusion to the forefront of everything we do.

We are striving to bring together a reference group of individuals who can each offer insights and lived experience into an area of diversity.
