Little Dreamers invites you to join us for an exciting Young Carer retreat in January!

For this retreat, we’re proud to partner with our friends at One Door and Carer Escapes, to provide Young Carers with a memorable, fun and empowering experience.

Young Carers will spend 3 days and 2 nights surrounded by beautiful nature and stunning beaches in Chowder Bay. There really is no place quite like this, with amazing facilities, breathtaking views, exciting outdoor experiences such as kayaking, nature walks and so much more.

The retreat will include fun group activities, workshops, and plenty of time to make connections and build long lasting friendships with other Young Carers who just ‘get it’. All meals will be included, just bring yourself, your swimmers and your energy. We can’t wait to meet you all!

Retreat Inclusions:

• Accommodation and linen
• All meals, snacks and beverages
• A range of fun and engaging workshops that explore ‘who you are’ outside of your caring role
• Activities including kayaking, kite making, bush walking, team building, movie night and more!
• Full adult supervision

Transport

Little Dreamers will provide complimentary return transport for Young Carers travelling from Newcastle. The bus will pick up program participants from a central location in Wallsend, departing no later than 9:30am on Tuesday, 5th of January. The bus will return the participants to the same location at approximately 5:30pm on Thursday, 7th January. Adult supervision will be provided.
