Holiday Program
Our Holiday Program gives Young Carers the opportunity to have some fun on the school holidays, connect with other Young Carers, and take some time out from their caring role!
Held every school holidays across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, these full days of fun include workshops, arts and crafts, exercise, dance, movies and more in a range of different locations.

Big Dreamers
Built from personal experience and qualitative research, the Big Dreamers Personal Development Program runs for six months with a small group of Young Carers aged 14-18. The aim of the program is to empower, develop resilience and provide the opportunity to build new skills and bring out hidden talents. The program includes retreats, monthly workshops and regular check ins with mentors.

The Young Carer Project
We’re educating students, teachers and schools on what it is to be a Young Carer and how to identify, support and amplify their education journey.
Our new school accreditation program is currently taking place across Victoria and Queensland.

The Young Carer Advocacy Project is an Australia-wide initiative designed to give Young Carers a platform to influence their community and create policy change across Australia.

Level UP
Level UP is all about supporting Young Adult Carers (aged 18-25) as they navigate a pivotal and often challenging stage of life.
Currently available in Victoria, South West Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains (NSW), the program is run online through our virtual platform called the Dreamers Hub, and features regular workshops, resources, social sessions and coaching.

Meet Alex, one of our incredible Young Carers who joined Little Dreamers back in 2018! Over the past 6 years, Alex has participated in everything from Dream Experiences to school holiday programs, tutoring, Big Dreamers, mentoring, and the Young Carer Advocacy Project.
In 2019, Alex was honoured as our inaugural Young Carer of the Year—a recognition that reflects his dedication not only to his caring role, but also to his own growth and development. Alex has been the primary carer for his mum from a very young age, taking on significant responsibilities with courage and grace.
We are beyond proud to see Alex take on new challenges, most recently stepping up as a Team Leader in our Big Dreamers program in VIC. But that’s not all—Alex is now studying to become a paramedic!
Watching Alex transform from a shy young kid into a karaoke master and a true leader within our organisation has been nothing short of amazing. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible young man!
