Our Dream Experience Program is a one-off support designed to celebrate and reward Young Carers with a unique and exciting experience that’s just for them!
Apply or refer a Young Carer for support via our application for support form, and our Family Support Workers will be in touch to plan an unforgettable day out.
We believe positive role models can create a lasting and vital impact in the lives of Young Carers.
Mentors and tutors provide Young Carers with someone to spend time with, provide valuable guidance, and increase social connection. Our volunteers can offer help with schoolwork, provide mentorship and give Young Carers a break from their caring roles.
Our Dreamers Hub is an online community created by Young Carers for Young Carers, that’s all about content, connection and care! The platform is home to:
The Young Carer Job Readiness Project (YCJRP) is a comprehensive support offering that aims to ensure young people with caring roles have the same access to employment opportunities as their non-caring peers.
Young Carers will access vocational skill development and training opportunities, alongside workplace mentoring, internships and work experience. It’s an opportunity to develop new skills, walk away with reference letters, make new, like minded friends, and be recognised and celebrated through a points-based rewards system!
A few weeks ago, 10-year-old Young Carer, Dale, lived out his Dream of visiting the Hangar to meet @essendonfc!
Dale was able to experience behind-the-scenes as he watched the players train alongside his dad and grandfather 👟
His dad said “It was such a special experience and Dale has been talking about it so much since last Wednesday. Thank you for organising such a special experience for my boy.” ❤...
Young Carer, Jacqueline, and Little Dreamers Program Lead, Sasha, presented recently at the Ansvar Insurance Conference! ✨
We were thrilled to hear this feedback from the Ansvar team: "The Conference was a great success, thanks in no small part to the outstanding contribution of Sasha and Jacqueline. The way they both confidently and articulately told their stories was beautiful and inspirational, and it was a perfect way to start our storytelling journey. The feedback from all our colleagues was that they were amazing, and they even inspired a few of our colleagues to talk about their own experience as carers."
We are incredibly fortunate to have received $50,000 by Ansvar to run a Big Dreamers program in Victoria this year. Stay tuned for this program coming soon! 🧡...

Elizabeth is excited to start working in the community to continue raising awareness, developing new partnerships, and broadening support for Young Carers. Watch this space 👀...
Today, we celebrate the incredible strength, resilience, and compassion of women everywhere – especially within our Little Dreamers community. From our dedicated staff and volunteers to our amazing supporters and donors, and, of course, our Young Carers, we recognise and honour the invaluable contributions of women each and every day.
As we mark this day, we also want to shine a light on an important conversation: the disproportionate representation of females in carer statistics. It`s super relevant to this year`s United Nations theme: "Invest in women: Accelerate progress". By investing in and supporting women of all ages, we can spark change and speed the transition towards a healthier, safer, and more equal world for all.
Here`s to the incredible women who inspire us every day! 💪
We thought we’d throw it all the way back to our Big Dreamers 2020 cohort 🚀
Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, this incredible group bonded like family, and when we reunited for our final retreat, it was nothing short of EPIC! 🎉
Why are we sharing this now? Because we’re gearing up for our next Big Dreamers program starting this April in VIC, and we want YOU to be part of the magic! 🌈
