This September school holidays, we’re running our first exciting and action-packed day for Young Carers in three different locations around Queensland. Check out what’s planned below!

Brisbane

When: Wednesday 23 September, 9:45AM – 4:00PM
Where: Queensland Museum, Science Centre and Southbank
What: Explore the Museum, Spark Lab and Southbank

Where: Shed 3, 15 Oonoonba Road, Idalia QLD 4811
What: Circus skills training, drumming workshop and crafts

Gold Coast

When: Thursday 24 September, 10:00AM – 4:00PM
Where: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Currumbin Beach
What: Visit to the Wildlife Sanctuary, followed by beach activities

How to book

1. Contact the Carer Gateway on 1800 422 737 to register your interest in the Little Dreamers Holiday Program.
2. Your allocated Carer Gateway Carer Support Worker will talk you through all the Young Carer programs available to you. From there, they can then refer you directly to Little Dreamers for the Holiday program and other relevant support programs. The Carer Gateway can fund the costs of the holiday program.
3. Once Little Dreamers receives your referral from the Carer Gateway, we’ll be in touch to confirm your place and provide more details!

Please note: If you are already registered with the Carer Gateway, you can contact your Carer Gateway Carer Support Worker directly to request a place at Little Dreamers’ Holiday Program.
