State Manager (VIC) – MAT LEAVE COVER

Location: Little Dreamers HQ, St Kilda VIC

This role aims to focus on leading the organisation and ensuring quality of service while meeting impact and budget targets. Reporting through to the CEO, this role requires creativity, initiative and an ‘out-ofthe- box’ attitude to bring awareness and understanding to complex challenges. You will have autonomy to affect change within the organisation, developing strategies from the ground up. This role is instrumental in setting up and managing a team of Program Coordinators and Social Workers to deliver programs across VIC. This role will require some travel both within VIC and occasionally interstate.

Peer Support Facilitator (QLD)

Location: Various locations across QLD

Start Date: 16/03/2020

Closing Date: 06/03/2020

Little Dreamers will be delivering In-Person Peer Support Groups for Young Carers in targeted areas across NSW and QLD as part of the wider Carer Gateway program. As a Peer Support Program Facilitator, you will find yourself delivering workshops to Young Carers around your local community. You will co-lead programs, delivering interactive workshops and group discussions with Young Carers, creating a safe and inclusive environment. Training will be provided for all Facilitators prior to commencing the role. Each Peer Support Group will have up to 15 Young Carers and will run for eight weeks at a time. Casual Facilitators will be allocated to at least one Peer Support Group at a time to deliver workshops and support.

Fundraising Coordinator

Location: Little Dreamers HQ , St Kilda VIC

As Fundraising Coordinator, you will be building relationships with corporates, writing grant applications, supporting with the developing and running of fundraising events, and coming up with some new and innovative fundraising ideas to support Young Carers around Australia. You’ll get to know some pretty cool people, gain lots of new experiences and ultimately, change the world. This is your opportunity to build a career changing social attitudes, connecting with Young Carers, and supporting other organisations to become more inclusive. If you’re committed to championing Young Carers, increasing community awareness and have some experience in communications and relationship development, then you’ll fit right in.

Family Support Worker – Regional Support

Location: Little Dreamers HQ , St Kilda VIC

This role aims to focus on supporting families; working closely with high risk, high need families; developing community organisation partnerships and collaboration opportunities; and development and running the logistics of Little Dreamers programs. Reporting through to the State Manager (VIC), this role requires creativity, initiative and an ‘out-of-the-box’ attitude to solving complex problems. You will have autonomy to affect change within the organisation, developing programs from the ground up with lots of room to grow within the organisation.
